Title: Wonderbook purchase for HSPLS
Narrative: LSTA funding was used to purchase 20 Wonderbook titles for each branch location. While there were some delays with the order and the need to swap out titles for backordered items, HSPLS was able to receive, catalog and distribute 527 items prior to September 30, 2023. For the period of August 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023, the Wonderbooks circulated a total of 2,358 times among all branches. Anecdotally, for this short reporting period, the branches have reported that children and families enjoy them and are asking for more.
Intent: Improve users’ ability to obtain and/or use information resources.
