Abstract: The USVI Public Libraries ILS (SirsiDynix) is supported by LSTA funds. Also, EBSCO and OCLC subscriptions are maintained by the LSTA funds. The EBSCO website also links to the newly acquired Hoopla subscription. The investment on these resources was coupled with very successful outreach activities (see Goal 3 for hiring Dianne Fisher who helped us with outreach); During the three day period of the Agricultural Fair we were able to reach about 40,000 residents in the USVI islands and sign up new patrons with new library cards! training and outreach. It was the biggest outreach forum we do, and reach about 40 k in a 3 day period We did several a tivites and signed up new patrons

Project Outcomes
Project Outcomes
List any important outcomes or findings not previously reported:
USVI residents have access to the library catalog and a library website; Hoopla electronic resources are not available for the first time through the library website and the website list various references resources now such as newspapers and government website. Constant updating and maintenance is needed.
Please briefly describe the importance of these outcomes and findings for future program planning:
Without these funds USVI residents would not have a library catalog for their public libraries or a website to access electronic resources.
Explain one or two of the most significant lessons learned for others wanting to adopt any facets of this project:
USVI never fully recovered from hurricanes Irma and Maria when COVID arrived and the latter decimated the tourist economy of the islands. USVI is on a recovery track but staff and other resources are not easily found in the islands which are geographically on the Atlantic time zone and have experienced some population decline in recent years.
