General Information
Title: ARPA: Igiugig Tribal Library
State Project Code: EASY22-076
Start Date: 10/01/2021
End Date: 09/30/2022
Abstract: Our ARPA EASY project had three goals: 1) improve the technology resources for patron
use at our library, 2) build our collection based on patron requests, and 3) create the first
every Story Walk in our community. We planned to purchase low-cost devices for the
library for in-library use as well as circulation, fill patron requests based on an informal FB
survey, and engage local students in the building a DIY story walk. Our intended audience
was the entire community of Igiugig, which has a population of 65. Each part of this
project could potentially benefit all residents, as well as visitors to our community.

Project Outcomes
Project Outcomes
List any important outcomes or findings not previously reported:
Igiugig Tribal Library has not had a functioning public computer for several years. The old DELLs we did have were outdated and never used by library attendees. Thanks to the EASY ARPA funds, we now have multiple functioning computers for library users to use for research, work, and online entertainment. We also finally have a wireless printer, scanner, copier, which is available to the public as well as extremely helpful to library staff. In addition to the Chromebooks, we have 10 lightly-used iPads specifically for our younger library users, but also for anyone who would like to download audiobooks and ebooks.
Please briefly describe the importance of these outcomes and findings for future program planning:
