Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic made it even more evident how important it is for everyone to have basic digital literacy skills. The Hawaii State Public Library System (HSPLS) has been on the statewide Broadband hui for more than a year and libraries have been positioned as the place to connect to or learn Digital Literacy Skills. In a partnership with the Hawaii Workforce Development Council (WDC), HSPLS has acquired access for anyone in Hawaii to use the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment tool and online training.

Project Outcomes
Project Outcomes
List any important outcomes or findings not previously reported:
Since full implementation in the Fall we are learning that basic computer and internet skills are a challenge with members of the community that are taking the assessment; only 67% passing basic computer and 62% passing basic internet.
Please briefly describe the importance of these outcomes and findings for future program planning:
You don't know what you don't know and having the assessments available has been enlightening for both staff and public. Data gathered will allow HSPLS to determine how best to support out communities with digital literacy learning opportunities going forward
