Project Outcomes
Project Outcomes
List any important outcomes or findings not previously reported:
Many libraries in the state are unable to afford IT services and have computers and other electronic items that are not working. This program allowed our IT technicians to travel to the locations and fix broken items as well as upgrade systems for better services to libraries and their patrons.
Please briefly describe the importance of these outcomes and findings for future program planning:
The more items that are working in a library, the more services they are able to offer their patrons. With more computers working, wait time for a computer is decreased making library services more beneficial.
Explain one or two of the most significant lessons learned for others wanting to adopt any facets of this project:
Listening to the library directors talk about their specific needs and issues helps determine if a targeted area needs more attention, training, or subgrants offered to increase services.
