Title: Biblioteca con innovación digital (Bibliodigital)
State Project Code: BIBLIO19-002
Start Date: 08/29/2019
End Date: 03/30/2021
Abstract: The purpose of the project: “Library with digital innovation (Bibliodigital)” was to increase the academic skills in the areas of Spanish, mathematics, English and science, while integrating cross-cutting themes, with the support of challenging activities and innovative pedagogical resources, with digital educational programs aligned with the DEPR Standards of Excellence, for the development of concepts and skills necessary in all basic academic subjects of the students attending a vocational high school.  The Library with Digital Innovation Project(BIBLIODIGITAL) is based on an innovative and challenging techno-educational innovation strategy that included students from ninth to twelfth grade, with a priority to disadvantaged students or those with academic lags, and extended to the rest of the school, depending on availability.  In addition, this project is aimed at highlighting the school library as an information literacy center for user learning.  The students had the opportunity to carry out formal and informal learning projects where they were able to use the digital technology necessary to access information and as a means of communication.  As expected, the BIBLIODIGITAL project impacted the development of informational competencies in students, which helped students in a learning process that can be applied to all subjects, as well as to their personal lives.

Title: The use of interactive resources in the Integration of activities
Narrative:

The students participated in integrated activities that broadened and enriched their curricular experiences through the use of an interactive resource of assessment and formative evaluation.

Activities were offered using complementary and reforming strategies such as: curricular integration, project-based learning, reading comprehension and cooperative learning.

This platform provides complementary strategies in the subject of mathematics; the program has a variety of exercises aligned to the blueprints of the math subject and allows the teacher to design assessment activities.

Project Outcomes
Project Outcomes
List any important outcomes or findings not previously reported:
Students benefited in a different way than expected; the format had to be changed to virtual due to the closing of schools because of the coronavirus pandemic; despite the situation, it was possible to work the activities online through Microsoft Teams.
Please briefly describe the importance of these outcomes and findings for future program planning:
Project activities can be offered on both formats: online and in person. Presentations can be recorded and shared with additional groups. Another benefit is that more students can participate at the same time. It is wise to be prepared with different tools and strategies.
Explain one or two of the most significant lessons learned for others wanting to adopt any facets of this project:
The project had its challenges, especially because we had to deal with the coronavirus emergency. The support of teacher co-workers throughout the process made it possible to achieve the project goals. The most important thing is to have the tools and strategies to reach the student body; we had to learn to work with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Forms in order to reach the student body effectively.
